What kind of results can I expect from my hair transplant?

•  First is the follicular graft adherence phase, in which the transplanted grafts have healed in place without worries of dislodging and falling out.  We advise our patients to avoid bumping their heads and causing trauma to the transplanted area.  The follicular graft adherence phase is approximately 3 to 7 days.  If you’ve had an FUG or Strip Method procedure, staples usually come out between 10 to 15 days.  Within 30 days or so, most patients experience the follicular graft shedding phase, in which the transplanted graft follicle is in tact but sheds the old hair to renew growth of the new transplanted hairs.  While that is happening, your new transplanted hair is then growing and healing at the same time.  Full recovery and growth occurs between month 9-12, but even more maturity and growth can be expected beyond that time-frame.
